Amos was ’n boer vóór, terwyl en nadat hy as profeet opgetree het. Hy het sy hoorders 40 keer daaraan herinner dat wat hy sê, is wat God gesê het.

Die jaar 1993 was droog, donker en onseker. Maar in sulke onseker tye roep God steeds mense om uitvoering aan sy hartsbegeerte te gee. Só het AMOS met ’n geskenk van R50 begin.
